The Sringeri Sharadamba Temple on Campus was buzzing with activity on Saturday, 2 July, 2022. It was on this day in 2012 that the Sringeri Jagadguru Shankaracharya performed the Kumbhabhisheka of the renovated temple. Abhishekas are performed every year to mark the auspicious day.
Abhisheka was performed to Goddess Sharadamba, Lord Mahaganapathy and Lord Venkatachalapathy in the Temple on the day. Faculty members, devotees from the general public and hundreds of students thronged the temple to witness the divine pujas.
